Hi-D-Ho Gamerinos!

My Dinner with André is a Simpsons Fan Game inspired by the Noise Land Video Arcade game featured in the episode 'Boy Scoutz 'n the Hood' from Season 5.

Join actors André Gregory and Wallace Shawn at the dinner table as they discuss the important matters of life. Choose from three separate retorts as you progress through an approximately 10 minute long discussion created in the spirit of Louis Malle's 1981 comedy film of the same name.

Each retort will lead to unique dialogue:

Tell me more: André will keep talking.

Trenchant Insight: Wallace will offer some insight of his own.

Bon Mot: Wallace will offer a witticism.

For many years, I have been thinking about how to turn this 10 second gag into something that can be actually played. The end result is this! Play in browser or download the ROM to play on a system of your choice. I hope you enjoy!

As an indie dev who left the industry for a few years only to be drawn back in, a huge fan of My Dinner With Andre and a child of the 90s, this hits a lot of spots with me. Awesome stuff, "Tell me more!"

Thank you so much, glad to hear you enjoyed it!

Amazing! One of my favorite movies. It really did deserve to be a video game! Thanks for making it so beautifully.

You're welcome!

Thank you for making this game :)

this was great! you did a great job capturing the actual dynamic from the original my dinner with andre and putting it into this conversation and ALSO adding in the simpsons aspect.

Thanks so much! Yeah, it took me a long time to try and figure out a way to combine the two in a meaningful way. I appreciate the feedback.

I did not expect this game to make me think and feel. Bravo.

Thank you! When I started making this fan game, I thought the same thing... it was initially supposed to be a game based off a stupid 10 second Simpsons gag, but then once I started making it, it organically turned into something much more than that...

C:Seymour why is there a game about our episode about "Steamed Hams?"

S:I dunno.

Saw the vid for this pop up on my Youtube subs and thought it was on your page...til I noticed I was looking at Itch's channel. Noice haha. Well deserved repping of your awesome stuff, grats.
